ZapRetail is point-of-sale and accounting software for UAE retailers, built in Dubai for multi-branch textile shops. Sales, shifts, returns and purchases post straight into double-entry books with UAE VAT, simplified and bilingual tax invoices and the VAT201 return, so owners, cashiers and accountants work from the same ledger.

What ZapRetail does
A photo-first touch till
Category rail, sub-category chips, item photos, barcode and search, in B2C and B2B modes. Prices can be edited on the line, and discounts need a manager PIN.
Split tender and shifts
Cash with change, card, bank transfer, cheque, on account and store credit. Shifts open with a float, count cash blind at close, post over or short, and print X and Z reports.
Buys by the metre, sells by the piece
Vendor bills in metres or rolls with attachments, stock from purchases and vendor payments allocated oldest first. No made-up conversion between metres and pieces.
UAE VAT invoices in English and Arabic
An 80mm simplified tax invoice for walk-in sales, a bilingual A4 tax invoice for business customers, and the VAT201 return, with print preview and silent printing.
Books the database guarantees
Every document posts balanced journals that cannot be edited. Periods close with lock dates. A correction is a new revision or a reversal, with the history on the page.

What is ZapRetail?
ZapRetail is a point of sale with full double-entry accounting for UAE retailers, built for multi-branch textile shops. The till, shifts, returns, purchases, vendor payments and expenses all post into the same ledger, which produces UAE VAT invoices, the VAT201 return and the owner's reports.
Why is it built for textile shops?
Textile retailers buy fabric by the metre or the roll and sell finished pieces. ZapRetail takes vendor bills in metres or rolls and sells by the piece without inventing a conversion between the two, so stock and margins come from what was bought and what was sold.
Does it produce UAE VAT invoices?
Yes. Walk-in sales print an 80mm simplified tax invoice, business customers get a bilingual English and Arabic A4 tax invoice, and the VAT201 return comes from the same books. Card settlement also records the VAT charged on the card provider's fee.
What happens when a posted document is wrong?
You correct it as a new revision or void it, and the full revision history stays on the page. Posted journals cannot be edited, periods close with lock dates, and every change goes into an append-only audit log, so the books an accountant closed stay closed.
How do shifts and cash work?
Each shift opens with a float. Paid-ins and paid-outs are recorded with receipt photos, the cashier counts cash blind at close, and any over or short is posted to the books. X and Z reports print from the till, and the owner dashboard shows cash per branch.
