A visa agency on its own platform
A UAE visa-processing agency needed one system for travellers, its own agents and partner agencies. TA247 gives it a customer portal, an operations hub and a B2B agency portal on its own deployment and database. Passport OCR and photo checks catch document problems before an agent submits the application to the government portal.

The situation
A visa agency sells to travellers directly and through partner travel agencies. Each application needs the right documents for the country and visa type, a passport scan and a compliant photo, payment, submission to a government portal and delivery of the issued visa. Consumer visa apps hide the agency behind their own brand; this agency wanted a platform it runs itself.
What was broken
- Applications arrived by email and WhatsApp with documents in whatever format the traveller had.
- Rejected photos and unreadable passport scans were found late, after the traveller had paid.
- Partner agencies submitted on behalf of travellers with no shared view of status, credit or commission.
- Prices per visa type and processing speed lived in a sheet that the website did not read.
What we built
A customer portal
Travellers browse visas with live prices, choose a processing speed, and complete a guided application: personal details, passport scan, photo, payment and confirmation. They upload documents and track the application in the same place.
An operations hub for the agents
An application queue with status tabs, document review, workflow steps through to government submission, job and task tracking, customer and agency directories, invoicing, payments, refunds, expenses and reporting.
A B2B portal for partner agencies
Partner agencies submit applications for their travellers from a prepaid wallet or a credit facility, and see the commission they have earned.
Passport OCR and photo checks
The passport scan is read into the application and the photo is checked against the requirements before the application reaches an agent. An agent reviews the application before anything is submitted.
Its own deployment
The agency runs its own instance with its own database, its own regional payment gateway and its own country modules. Travellers get email and WhatsApp updates as the application moves.
How it runs day to day
A traveller picks a visa and a processing speed, uploads a passport and a photo, and pays. The passport details are already filled in when the application reaches the agents' queue, and a photo that fails the checks has been flagged. An agent reviews the documents, moves the application through its workflow steps and submits it to the government portal. The traveller sees each step on the portal and on WhatsApp; a partner agency sees the same status for the travellers it sent.
What's next
Showing travellers prices in their own currency and adding country modules, so the agency can open a new market by switching on a module rather than commissioning a rebuild.
